It's exhausting seeking approval from everyone.
It’s hard navigating the world feeling unloved and filled with shame. It’s no fun carrying around a sense of emptiness deep inside like a black hole you just want to fill up.
Hi, I’m Karen. And I used to live that way. In fact, for most of my life I lived with a sad heart and a deep sense of emptiness. To top it off, I wore a pair of shame glasses firmly planted over my eyes colouring everything I thought, said and did. What’s even worse – I would seek the approval from people I didn’t even like.
I tried many ways to rid myself of those feelings through unhealthy methods. Those methods only worked for the moment. Eventually I was in my dark hole once again. So, I know how to live sad, hopeless and bleak. All these things kept me living a small life.
Here’s the thing though – I was never meant to live a small life. And neither are you!
Ashes to beauty...
There is another way.
What has stopped you in the past from looking into the availability of God in your life?
You can be rescued.
Is there something in your life you want to be rescued from? I needed a God who could rescue me from myself and save me.
